I’m raising money to repair my home. Unfortunately, Warren County has been deemed only to have minor damages, leaving me without assistance from FEMA, MEMA, or United Way.

With no outside help, I’ve been cutting down trees on my property with my siblings. While I have a chainsaw, I need more tools to finish the job. Additionally, I’m facing significant damage inside my home that requires repairs and cleaning. I need panels, wood, screws, and essential bathroom fixtures, as well as painting materials and repairs for my kitchen.

I’ve struggled to secure grants due to frustrating bureaucratic hurdles. I was told that I could arrange tree removal for $3,000, but I simply can’t afford that. It’s disheartening that even volunteers can’t assist due to liability issues.

On top of this, I recently lost my father to inadequate healthcare, which adds to my stress.

As a homeowner, I face the challenge of HUD loan requirements for inspections and insurance, which I can't afford right now. I even consider selling my property for cash, though I hope for community support to help me get through this.
